The Vagina Monologues A Fundraiser for the Moose Jaw Transition House

Each year the Business Women of Moose Jaw has hosted an event on or around International Women’s Day. This year we are presenting local women participating in The Vagina Monologues as a fundraiser for the Moose Jaw Transition House.

The Vagina Monologues award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humour and grace, the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength. Through the play and the liberation of the word vagina, women around the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives. Since 1994, the Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public. The Vagina Monologues ran Off-Broadway for five years in New York and then toured the United States and has been performed by women around the world.

The Business Women of Moose Jaw are inviting you to attend and instead of a fixed ticket amount are asking for a voluntary donation to the Moose Jaw Transition House.

It will be performed in the Moose Jaw Library Theatre.
